Q18: What are Transaction Limits?
Transaction Limits are limits that are imposed on your account for your own safety. There are several limits that are applied to all accounts: 
· Single transaction limit: A Maximum spending limit of AED 25,000 for any single transaction. 
· Daily transactions: A Maximum spending limit of AED 25,000 per day per account. 
· Monthly transactions: A Maximum spending limit of AED 25,000 per month per account. Resets on the 1st of each month. 
· Maximum Wallet Balance: You can only have a maximum of AED 25,000 in your wallet at any point in time. 
To increase your transaction limit, apply via the Botim app: 
Profile > Payment Settings > Increase Wallet Limit. It may take up to 2 business days for a reply. Ensure necessary documents are submitted upon request.

Q20: How can I add money to my wallet?
You can top up using a debit card, bank account, uPay or NT.Payments kiosk. Also, receive funds via Botim transfers or from Aani if registered. 
To top up via debit card: Botim App > Money > Add Funds > Enter Amount > Select Payment Method > Enter Passcode. 
To top up via kiosk: Botim Money > Add Funds > Deposit Cash > Scan QR or find a location on the map. Ensure your wallet is activated on the intended number before topping up.
Q21: How can I add a bank card to Botim Money?
Open the app > Profile > Payment Settings > Cards & Bank Accounts, then follow the prompts to save a card.
Q22: I’m not receiving the OTP code. What should I do?
Ensure your phone number is active and has network coverage. Try resending the code or restarting your device.
Q23: How can I cancel/close my Botim Money account?
Go to Profile > Payment Settings > Delete Account. Before doing so: 
– Ensure your balance is zero 
– Settle all bills 
– Close your prepaid card 
Once deleted, you’ll no longer have access to Botim money services.
Q24: How can I change my registered mobile number?
Go to Me > Botim Money > Settings > Account > Phone Number. 
You’ll need to verify via OTP on both your old and new numbers.
Q25: How can I withdraw money from my Botim Money account?
Withdraw to UAE bank account: Go to Botim Money > Withdraw > Enter IBAN and complete the form. Fee: AED 2.00 per transaction. Name must match your Emirates ID. 
Withdraw to Aani: Botim Money > Withdraw > Enter amount > Select Aani > Enter passcode or face verification. Fee: AED 0.50 per transaction.
Q26: What if I forget my password?
Go to Botim Money > Profile > Payment Settings > Security & Password > Reset Payment Password. Follow the steps to verify and reset.
Q27: How can I get a Botim statement?
Currently not supported. This feature is under development.
Q28: Why did my limit increase request get rejected?
Rejections are usually due to not meeting eligibility criteria (e.g., income). You may reapply after 30 days.
Q29: Can I add an international debit card to my wallet?
This feature is currently not supported. Only UAE-issued debit cards are allowed.
Q30: Can I perform a VAM Top-up from an international bank account?
This feature is currently not supported.
Q31: What happens if I exceed my wallet limit?
You won’t be able to top up beyond your wallet limit. Limits reset on the 1st of each month. Check your remaining limit in the app.
Q32: What kind of transactions can I do with my wallet?
You can send and receive money locally: 
1. Wallet to Wallet: Botim Money > Send > Enter recipient’s number or select from contacts > Enter amount > Send. 
2. Wallet to Aani: Botim Money > Send > Enter Aani-registered number > Enter amount > Send. 
3. Scan to Pay: Scan a Botim QR code and follow steps. 
To receive: Botim Wallet > Request > Enter amount > Share QR code for sender to scan and transfer. 
Transfers must be accepted within 24 hours or they will expire and be refunded.
Q33: What is a wallet to wallet transfer?
A wallet to wallet transfer allows sending money to another Botim user using their phone number: 
Botim Money > Send > Enter number or choose from contacts > Enter amount > Send. 
Recipient must accept within 24 hours or the transfer expires and is refunded.
Q34: How can I request money via QR code?
To request money using Botim, open the Botim wallet, click on Request, enter the amount, click Confirm, then share the QR code with the Botim user who will send the funds. They can scan it and complete the transfer.
Q35: How can I send money using scan to pay?
Use the Scan to Pay option in the Botim wallet to scan a QR code shared by another Botim user. Follow the steps after scanning to complete the transfer.
Q36: Are there any additional charges for doing local Aani transfers via Botim?
Aani to Aani transfers are free of charge.
Q37: Is it safe to use Aani through the Botim application?
Yes, it’s safe. Botim is licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE and uses encryption and multi-factor authentication to protect users and transactions. Never share your OTP, PIN, or wallet credentials with anyone.
Q38: What is the minimum amount that I can transfer using Aani?
There is no minimum amount.
Q39: What is the maximum amount that can be transferred locally?
There is no set maximum, but transfers may be limited by the receiver’s wallet limit.
Q40: How much are the transfer fees for Aani transactions?
Aani to Aani transfers are free. Botim to Aani withdrawals incur a 0.50 AED fee.

Currently, there are no promotions available.
Q42: What authentication is required before making any transactions locally?
For balance payments, Botim Pay password is required. For card payments, CVV and OTP are required.
Q43: What can be done if I transfer to the wrong account locally?
You will need to ask the receiver to return the funds.
Q44: How to cancel a local transaction in Botim?
Local transactions cannot be refunded or canceled. Always verify the recipient’s name before submitting.
